Low in Saturated Fat, Low in Sodium, BIG on TASTE!
INGREDIENTS
500 gram extra lean ground chicken
1 medium onion, chopped
2-3 garlic cloves, crushed
1 tbsp Olive Oil
3 celery stalks, chopped
1 medium red pepper, chopped
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can sliced mushrooms
1 can low sodium dark red kidney beans, rinsed
1 can low sodium black beans, rinsed
1 can brown beans in tomato sauce
1 can low sodium canned corn
1 tsp sea salt
1 tsp Pepper, black
2 tbsp packed Brown Sugar
3 tbsp Chili powder
1 large can tomato sauce
DIRECTIONS
Heat oil and cook veggies until tender. Throw into the slow cooker. Brown ground chicken. Add to slow cooker with al the remaining ingredients. Cook on high for 4-6 hours.
Serving Size: makes 13 servings. approx 1 Cup each
