INGREDIENTS

1/3 cup butter, melted
1 tsp molasses

Double Chocolate Chunk Protein Bar

Low Carb Double Chocolate Chunk Bar

Mmmm! Delicious! Only 5.5 net carbs per bar!

Bar Ingredients

Chocolate protein powder, 4 scoops (1 1/4 cups)
2 tbsp Flax Seed Meal (ground flax)
1/2 cup cconut milk powder (or low carb milk powder)
1/4 nut butter
Vanilla extract 1 tsp
1 tbsp dark cacao
4 packets stevia (or sweetener of choice)
1/4 + 2 tbsps water

Chocolate Chunks Ingredients

150 grams stevia sweetened chocolate or 2/3 cup  NSA chocolate chips
2 tbsp coconut butter
1 tbsp heavy cream.

 Directions

Make chocolate chunks:
Melt chocolate and coconut butter in a small glass dish. Stir in heavy cream. Chill until hardened. About 1 hour.
Remove from dish and coarsely chop. Set aside.

Spray an 8 inch square pan with non-stick spray. In bowl, whisk together nut butter, water and vanilla. Add remaining ingredients. Add chocolate chunks. Spread into pan and freeze for an hour or refridgerate overnight, until squares can be cut. Keep in airtight container in fridge or wrap individually.

Low Carb High Fibre Protein Bars

 

INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup ground flax seed
2 tablespoons coconut flour
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
4 scoops chocolate protein powder
pinch stevia powdered extract
1 tbsp dark cacao
1/3 cup almond butter
2 tablespoons coconut oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 – 1/2 cup water

 

DIRECTIONS

Mix together all the dry ingredients. In a pyrex measuring cup, melt the coconut oil. Add almond butter. Stir. Add to dry mix. Add water. Start with 1/4 cup. Add until mixture sticks together but isn’t overly sticky.

Spread into a greased 8×8″ pan. Chill until firm. Several hours or overnight. Cut into 8 bars.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups sliced almonds

2 scoops chocolate whey protein powder (about 1/2 cup)

2 tbsp ground flax

1 cup coconut milk powder

1/4 cup almond butter

1/4 + 2  TBSP water

OPTIONAL: dash of stevia powdered extract

 

Directions:

Grease an 8 inch square pan. In bowl, whisk together nut butter and water Add remaining ingredients. Mix well. Dough will be still. Careful not to add too much water. Start with 1/4 cup and see if the mixture hold together. Different protein powders hold water differently. Spread into pan and freeze for an hour or refridgerate overnight, until squares can be cut. Wrap individually.

These are absolutely AWESOME!

INGREDIENTS

Bars2 scoops chocolate whey protein (about 1/2 cup)
1/2 cup almond meal/flour
2 tbsp almond butter
2 tbsp coconut flour
1/4 cup coconut milkTopping

50 grams 100% dark cacao chocolate (I used Pralus)
1/4 cup coconut milk
1/8 tsp Steviva stevia powdered extract

DIRECTIONS

Combine all BAR ingredients in a food processor. Form into 4 bars.
Melt chocolate. Add stevia. Stir in coconut milk and spread over bars.
Chill until firm. Cut into bars.

Serving Size: 4 bars
