Chocolate Avocado Brownies

The avocado makes these velvety smooth! Only 4.5 net carbs per brownie!

INGREDIENTS

2 tbsp butter
4 oz unsweetened chocolate
3 eggs
1 avocado
4 tbsp dark cocoa powder
1/2 cup NSA syrup (if not concerned with carbs use honey or maple syrup)
3 tbsp almond meal

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a square baking dish.

In a small saucepan, melt butter and chocolate. Remove from heat.

In food processor (I used my Ninja), process 1 avocado. Add remaining ingredients except any optional add-ins. Process. Add melted chocolate mixture. Process. Stir in nuts

Spread into greased pan.

Bake for 25 minutes. Allow to cool completely

*OPTIONAL; Add chocolate chips, walnuts or shredded coconut

    What walnuts? Only 3 tablespoons almond flour? They look good but only 3 T flour surely can’t yield an 8×8 pan of brownies. Just making sure this correct! Thanks! I do love your recipes!

      Hi! I should have added walnuts as one of the options. Thanks for pointing that out. However the other amounts are correct. The brownies are very fudgy!
