Maple Walnut Protein Bars

Low Carb Protein Bars

INGREDIENTS

2 cups whey protein powder
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 tsp maple extract
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/3 cup granulated sweetener (sweetener equal to 1/3 cup sugar)
pinch sea salt

DIRECTIONS

Combine protein powder, sweetener, walnuts, and salt and extract in a large bowl. Add most of the cream and mix until combined. Adding more as necessary to make dough come together. May need slightly more than 1/2 cup, however, be careful not to add too much. You don’t want the bars to be too sticky.
Press dough into a small greased glass pan and refrigerate until firm. Cutting bars and wrap individually.
