Taco Nachos

INGREDIENTS

170 gram package nacho chips (I used quinoa and black bean tortillas)

1 lb lean ground beef

taco seasoning *recipe follows (or you can use an envelope of the store bought stuff)

1 cup water

1 cup salsa

1/4 cup guacamole

1/2 cup sour cream

1/2 cup grated sharp cheddar

1/2 cup grated monteray jack cheese

*Taco Seasoning

2 tbsp chili powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tbsp cumin
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
2 tsp sea salt
2 tsp black pepper

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

Brown ground beef in skillet. Add 1 cup water and taco seasonings. Allow to simmer until water has evaporated.

Spread chips onto a baking sheet. Place seasoned meat into centre of chips. Sprinkle cheese on top.

Place in preheated oven to approximately 5 minutes. Keep an eye. You just want the cheese to melt.

Remove from oven and dollop the salsa, guacamole and sour cream on top.

Dig In!
