Reduced Sugar Cranberry Cornmeal Cookies

With reduced sugar these are still a fairly low carb treat at 9 grams net carb per cookie

INGREDIENTS

1/2 steviva blend or 1 cup xylitol, Swerve or sweetener to egual 1 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar, not packed
1 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 egg
2 egg whites
2 tbsp agave nectar
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1 1/2 cups spelt flour
1 cup yellow cornmeal
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp sea salt
1 1/2 cups dried cranberries

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray a baking sheet with non-stick spray. Cream sweetener and sugar with butter and applesauce. Add egg and egg whites. Mix well. Add remaining ingredients. Mix until blended.
Drop by teaspoonfulls onto cookie sheet. Bake for approx 9 minutes.
